Customer Service - Equipment Hire Coordinator

About the Role

Join Active Mobility Systems as a Customer Service – Equipment Hire Coordinator and play a key role in helping people maintain their independence and quality of life. Based in our Silverwater office, you will be the first point of contact for customers, coordinating the hire of mobility and rehabilitation equipment while delivering outstanding service and support. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your organisation, problem-solving skills, and customer focus will make a real difference every day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage customer enquiries and equipment hire bookings via phone and email, delivering professional and knowledgeable service.

• Coordinate with the Hire Operations team to ensure the preparation, delivery, collection, and turnaround of hire equipment to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, bookings, and customer information.

• Process invoices, payments, and assist with account management activities.

• Provide customers with guidance on the safe and effective use of hired equipment.

• Support equipment cleaning, maintenance, and deliveries as required.

• Work closely with colleagues to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a customer service, administration, or client-facing role, ideally within healthcare, disability services, or equipment hire.

• Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for helping people.

• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office, with excellent attention to detail.

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to work both independently and within a team.
