Ruby Red Flamingo is a busy, iconic Italian dining institution housed inside a historic property on Tynte Street. We are famous for our vibrant, eclectic atmosphere, incredible house-made pasta, extensive wine list and top-tier hospitality.

Our team is growing, and we are looking for three energetic hospitality professionals who love authentic Italian dining to join our tight-knit family. We have flexible Casual and Part-Time positions available across the following roles:

Positions Available & Key Responsibilities

1. Assistant Restaurant Manager (Casual / Part-Time)

• The Role: Work alongside our Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our floor team, and maintain our high service standards.

• Responsibilities: Managing shifts, handling guest feedback, supervising staff, and assisting with cash reconciliation.

• Requirements: Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and a current SA RSA certificate.

2. Bartender (Casual / Part-Time)

• The Role: Take control of the bar area, crafting exceptional drinks and delivering engaging service to guests at the counter.

• Responsibilities: Mixing cocktails, pouring local and Italian wines, managing bar stock, and maintaining a clean workspace.

• Requirements: Confident cocktail-making skills, solid product knowledge, speed during busy services, and a valid SA RSA certificate.

3. Wait Staff / Waiters (Casual / Part-Time)

• The Role: Guide our guests through their dining journey, ensuring they receive attentive, efficient, and friendly table service.

• Responsibilities: Greeting guests, explaining daily blackboard specials, taking food/drink orders, and running plates.

• Requirements: Friendly personality, ability to multitask, a strong team player attitude, and a valid SA RSA certificate.
