About the role

We are seeking a Sales Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Yatala, Queensland location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring seamless customer interactions. As a Sales Administration Assistant, you will be the backbone of our sales department, managing administrative tasks that directly contribute to our sales success and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a growing company within the recreational vehicle industry.

Key responsibilities

• Processing sales enquiries and managing customer communications via phone, email, social media and in-person interactions

• Preparing and maintaining accurate sales documentation, quotations and contracts

• Scheduling customer appointments and coordinating with the sales team

• Maintaining and updating customer databases and sales records

• Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

• Processing orders and coordinating delivery arrangements with customers

• Handling customer follow-ups and ensuring prompt responses to enquiries

• Assisting with invoicing and payment processing procedures

• Assisting the General manager with marketing content.

• Helping pre deliver, clean and stage new Toy Haulers in our showroom.

• Assist with promotional ventures on site and at events.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales administration or client administration role, preferably within a sales-driven environment

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or sales databases

• A professional approach with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Customer service experience and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service

• Reliable, punctual and dedicated to meeting deadlines

• Experience in the automotive, recreational vehicle or trailer industry is preferred but not essential

• A passion for the outdoors, caravans, motorbikes, camping and at times a bit of hands on work.
