About Your New Position
Due to the retirement of a valued team member, an opportunity is now available for a Mechanical Fitter to join our close-knit Maintenance team at Iplex Chipping Norton. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday day-shift role where you will help keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and continuous improvement. The position also includes routine inspections, breakdown response, maintenance records and involvement in team problem-solving. This role would be ideal for someone who does an understanding of PVC granulation and PVC Mixing as well as an under, has excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
Just as importantly, this is a role built around communication and connection. You will work closely with our operators, listening to their feedback and using their day-to-day knowledge of the equipment to identify issues and improve reliability. You will be trusted with the autonomy to get on with the job, while working with a leader who is available to support your development when needed. This role is perfect if enjoy solving problems, sharing ideas and being part of a collaborative team.
