Trainee Pool Installer / Labourer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Pool Installer / Labourer to join our skilled team in the Gippsland & Casey/Cardinia regions. In this role, you will work alongside experienced installers on pool installation projects from site preparation through to completion, learning the trade while helping ensure every job meets our high standards of quality and client satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the pool installation trade.

As a Trainee Pool Installer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing general labouring for the installation of swimming pools, ensuring effective use of the team and timely delivery

• Delivering a high standard of workmanship on every job

• Using and caring for company equipment within guidelines

• Keeping work tools and vehicles neat, tidy and presentable at all times

• Managing your time effectively when completing tasks and planning for installations

• Being courteous and sincere towards customers at all times

• Displaying a helpful and positive attitude when addressing customer concerns

About you

Essential skills/experience required:

• Valid driver's licence (essential – please don't apply if you don't currently have one)

• No formal qualifications required – training will be provided

• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic

• Responsible, reliable, honest and trustworthy

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Experience in a client-facing role

• Understanding of Work, Health and Safety protocols, with knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment

• Ability to work in a flexible, multi-tasking environment

Desirable:

• Construction or trade experience

• Experience working with a variety of power tools

Remuneration will be negotiated to attract a motivated and experienced candidate.
