Work that matters
As the Human Ethics Officer, you will play a key role in supporting ethical, safe and compliant research across Adelaide University. Working closely with researchers, academic staff and the Human Research Ethics Committee, you will coordinate the review and management of human research ethics applications, provide expert advice on legislative and policy requirements, and ensure research activities align with state, national and University standards. You will deliver high-quality committee support, develop and facilitate ethics training for researchers and students, liaise with external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of ethics systems, processes and policies that foster a culture of responsible research.

The team
Reporting to the Manager, Human Ethics, this role forms part of Research Services, Compliance, Ethics and Integrity team within the Research Services and Infrastructure Function and is aligned to the Research and Innovation Portfolio within the University.
