Bookkeeper

Aussiefast Transport Solutions are seeking an experienced and highly organised Bookkeeper based at our Pooraka head office.

The role is available in a part-time capacity, for 2 days per week and will support our in-house Accountants.  This role is ideal for a bookkeeping professional who enjoys working independently and contributing to the success of a growing business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Bookkeeping functions in support of in-house Accountants

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Payroll processing, superannuation, and employee record maintenance

• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS

• Management of debtor collections and supplier payments

• Cash flow monitoring and reporting

• Monthly financial reporting and account reconciliation

• Liaising with external accountants and assisting with year-end requirements

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following attributes:

• Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within an SME environment

• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting, payroll, and GST requirements

• Experience using Myob accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

• Professional communication skills and a proactive approach
