Bookkeeper Part Time

Pacific Garage is looking for an experienced and reliable part-time Bookkeeper to join our team in Ballina.

This is a dedicated bookkeeping and finance role, suited to someone who is organised, accurate, confident working independently, and experienced across payroll, superannuation, reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

This role is not a front counter, service advisor, or workshop admin position. It is focused on keeping the financial side of the business accurate, organised and up to date.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth financial operation of the business.

Key duties include:

• Processing payroll accurately and on time

• Managing superannuation, PAYG, leave entitlements and payroll records

• Bank, credit card, loan account and general account reconciliations

• Accounts payable, including supplier payments and creditor records

• Accounts receivable, including debtor follow-up and monthly statements

• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records

• Filing financial documents and keeping records organised

• Assisting with BAS preparation

• Liaising with our accountant when required

• Supporting reporting and general financial administration
