About the role
Come and join our wonderful, high performing People Team!
As the Early Careers Coordinator for our award-winning law firm Hamilton Locke, you will support the coordination and delivery of our national clerkship and graduate programs, managing the full employee lifecycle for clerks and graduates from recruitment to post-onboarding.
You will report to Alexandra Meier, Senior People Business Partner - Hamilton Locke, working closely with the HR Business Partnering team to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns, and ensure our programs reflect our growth trajectory and university partnership ambitions.
This role offers genuine ownership, national exposure, and the opportunity to shape the future of early careers at Hamilton Locke.
This is a part-time fixed term contract role (ideally 4 days per week) until 27 November 2026 and may be extended for a further 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver our early careers programs across Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.Support high volume recruitment campaigns for our national clerkship and graduate programs.Coordinate clerkship/graduate interviews, manage candidate communications and offers.Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for our clerks and graduates.Be the first point of contact for queries regarding our early careers program, PLT and admission.Contribute to the design of our Early Careers recruitment strategy.Help elevate Hamilton Locke’s on-campus presence and brand awareness in the market.Support the design and delivery of our graduate training and development program.Provide generalist HR administrative support to the HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition teams, as required.
About You
You strive for perfection, are proactive, highly organised and thrive in very fast-paced, high-volume environments. You enjoy balancing operational excellence with strategic thinking and are motivated by building meaningful early talent programs.
You Will Be
Studying HR Management (or a related field).Have at least 1 year of admin experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment (Law industry experience highly regarded).Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capability.Highly proactive.Able to juggle competing priorities during peak periods.Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, students and university personnel.A continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify program enhancements.Demonstrated capability managing high-volume recruitment campaigns highly regarded.
