People and Culture Officer - 12-Month Max Term

This is a Monday to Friday role, based at our custom-built facility in Kewdale.

To be part of the change this role will: 

• Maintain and update HRIS, ensure data accuracy and confidentiality, manage user access, and support system upgrades and new module implementation.
• Develop workflows, liaise with stakeholders and vendors, and implement improvements to enhance HR operations.
• Prepare contracts and employee lifecycle paperwork, generate reports for compliance and insights, and oversee employee recognition programs
• Provide HRIS technical assistance and training, advice on HR policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and reporting.
• Manage HR Services inbox, actioning HRIS employee updates and advising on HRIS functions and processes.
• Track and maintain employee workflows in excel, liaise with People and Culture team to ensure accuracy and timely for system workflows.

BE this person

As part of the solution, you will have:

• Certificate IV or higher in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role
• Strong understanding of HR legislation, awards, and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills
• High level of confidentiality and attention to details
• Experience in Elmo, highly desirable
