HR Services Team Leader (Parental Leave Contract)

The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Services Team Lead to join EBOS Group on a 12-month parental leave contract, leading our HR Services function across operational service delivery, provision of data and analytics and driving process improvement.

Reporting to the General Manager of HR Support Services, you will lead a team of 5 and help ensure HR Services activity is delivered accurately, consistently and with a strong customer-service mindset.

This is a broad operational leadership role suited to someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, improving processes and working with HR systems (SuccessFactors), data and stakeholders across a complex AU/NZ environment.

You will also support change activity, system improvements and new ways of working across a complex AU/NZ environment.

What You Will Do:

• Lead HR Services delivery: Lead a team of 5 overseeing HR service requests, escalations and day-to-day service delivery as per SLAs.
• Lead and develop the team: Set priorities, support performance and build team capability.
• Own reporting and people data: Manage employee data integrity and deliver accurate reporting on operational and strategic metrics, analytics and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvement and change: Lead process improvements, system enhancements and change activities from M&A related business integrations, restructures and other business changes.
• Partner across the business: Work closely with HR, Payroll, HRIS and business stakeholders to improve service outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

• Broad HR operations leadership experience: Demonstrated experience leading an HR Operations, HR Services or shared services team within a large, complex environment.
• HR systems and process experience: Experience working with complex HR systems and employee lifecycle processes. SuccessFactors experience would be highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel, reporting and data skills: Strong competency in Excel, reporting and analytics, including working with large datasets, manual analysis and spreadsheet-based reporting.
• Service delivery and compliance mindset: Strong focus on customer service, data integrity, governance, policy compliance and consistent service delivery.
• Change and continuous improvement capability: Experience supporting system, process or organisational change and identifying practical improvements that enhance service delivery.
• Stakeholder engagement and influence: Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and balancing a strong service mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence where required.
• Work pattern and flexibility: This role supports an AU/NZ operation and participates in a rostered coverage model between 7:00am and 5:30pm. Flexibility to work across these hours when required is essential.
• Relevant tertiary qualification: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
