Are you passionate about quality, food safety and making a real impact on production outcomes? As our Quality Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring quality control activities meet company standards while acting as the vital link between Quality and Manufacturing on day-to-day quality and food safety matters. You'll also have the opportunity to step into a leadership capacity, providing support and backup to the Afternoon Shift Quality Lead when required. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Promote and maintain a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.  
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), food safety standards, and third-party accreditations, including SQF, Halal and Export requirements.  
• Conduct quality assurance activities including inspections, testing, product assessments, verification checks, calibration compliance and product release processes.  
• Coordinate site sampling and testing programs, including microbiological, allergen and environmental monitoring.  
• Provide training and support to production teams on quality and food safety procedures, ensuring employees are equipped to perform their roles effectively.  
• Investigate quality incidents, non-conformances and out-of-specification results, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, internal audits, customer and consumer complaint investigations, and the implementation of quality system improvements.  
• Partner with Manufacturing to provide day-to-day quality support, represent Quality in production meetings, and communicate food safety and quality matters to key stakeholders. 

What You’ll Bring:  

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry 
• Self-motivated & passionate capacity to build effective & sustainable relationships with key stakeholders 
• High level of capability in managing numerous moving and evolving activities simultaneously 
• Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills 
• Pragmatic and commercially driven 
• Ability to think outside the box when problem solving 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Knowledge of Quality Management and Food Safety Systems 
• Ability to train others 
• Excellent computing skills with a knowledge of company software applications 
• Maintain a positive attitude 
• Excellent attention to detail
