• Salary: 65k to 90k +supper

About the role 

LightHorse Kitchen, Moorebank sports is a modern brasserie specialising in Australian cuisine, open for lunch and dinner focused on using high-quality produce, changing the menu with the seasons and keeping up with new food trends. We are looking for a experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen staff of 11 and grow within the role! your working duties and responsibilities will include:   

• Input toward menu's

• input towards chef specials

• Train and supervise over 8 staff (if in sous chef roll)

• Enforce and follow all HACCP Rules

• Ensuring all safe food practices are maintained

• Produce innovative and delicious food experiences.

Skills and experience 

• Prior experience as a Chef in a comparable brasserie/restaurant 

• Proven experience leading kitchen staff

• Passion for food!  

• Ability to motivate and work in a team.

• A can-do attitude.
