Warehouse Supervisor

Macs Engineering and Opposite Lock is a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of light vehicle tray bodies, roll over protection systems (ROPS), 4WD equipment and accessories, laser cutting operations and other specialist vehicle componentry in Mackay.

We currently have a position for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our warehouse team.  An immediate start and competitive terms and conditions are offered.

To be successful in this role you must have a High Risk Forklift and drivers licence ( manual preferred ) , medium rigid truck licence highly desirable but not essential.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Proven commitment to Safety & Compliance

• Problem solving abilities and attention to detail

• Computer literacy/minimal Excel spreadsheet

• Unloading & distributing stock

• Ensuring parts are accurate & organised for jobs

• Maintaining warehouse stock levels

• Monitoring day-to-day operations, including - receiving, picking, packing and despatching goods

• Co-ordinate stock control activities, such as regular cycle counts

• Maintain high standard of communication and accuracy of stock within the warehouses

• Process documentation such as, paperwork, delivery dockets & consignment notes

• Organise delivery & pickups from Suppliers

• Identifying and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Other duties required by management

• Forklift operation
