About the opportunity

The Older Adults team provides secondary consultation for older adults and clinicians in the community teams, including advice to support consumers and the broader community via a comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment.

The incumbent may be required to work extended hours on evenings and weekends.

About you:

Mandatory qualifications:

• Registration with AHPRA as a Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsement).
• Demonstrated clinical competency in mental status and risk assessment
• The ability to prioritise workload and coordinate clinical care with other services providers.
• A current unrestricted Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive a work vehicle

Desirable:

• Further study in the relevant specialist areas
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
