Site Foreman – Residential & Commercial

About the role

Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager, you'll take day-to-day ownership of what happens on site — supervising trades, keeping the sequence tight, holding the quality line and making sure the site runs safely and cleanly.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of subcontractors, trades and labour

• Making sure works are built to the approved drawings, specifications and scope

• Monitoring progress and reporting updates, delays and issues to the Site Manager

• Assisting with planning and sequencing to keep the programme on track

• Inspecting works for quality, and identifying defects and non-conforming work early

• Enforcing WHS compliance and company procedures on site

• Running site inductions, pre-starts and toolbox talks

• Identifying hazards and putting the right controls in place

• Keeping site records up to date, site diaries, safety documentation and checklists

• Tracking deliveries, materials and site activity

About you

• Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction or similar

• Experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand or in a supervisory role

• Exposure across multiple stages of construction structure through to finishes

• Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Confident reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and scopes of work

• Solid understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination

• Clear, direct communicator who can give trades a straight answer

• Genuine attention to detail, particularly on finishes and quality

• Current driver's licence
