Job Description

Create moments beyond the glass 

At The William Inglis Hotel – MGallery, we believe great drinks create great moments.

As a Bartender, you will be at the heart of our guest experience — shaking, stirring and creating memorable moments across 1867 Bar & Lounge, The Newmarket Room Restaurant and our events. From signature cocktails inspired by our local story to perfectly crafted classics, you’ll bring your personality, creativity and passion to every pour.

Mixology at MGallery is a moment to savour — a celebration of creativity, artistry and flavours that linger long after the last sip.

Qualifications

About You

You are a passionate hospitality professional who loves creating memorable guest experiences. With creativity, confidence and a genuine warmth, you take pride in crafting exceptional beverages and being part of a team that delivers moments worth remembering.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous bartending or beverage experience within a restaurant, hotel or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverage preparation and service techniques.
• A passion for connecting with guests and sharing your beverage knowledge.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Full Australian working rights.
