A rare opportunity has become available. We are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Burton depot in South Australia, with an immediate start on offer for the right person.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of six and take full ownership of the warehouse floor. This role will suit someone who backs their own judgement, sets the standard for their team, and has the confidence to hold others to account. Experience operating both sit-down forklifts of varying capacities and high reach forklifts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide warehouse and distribution services, including but not limited to:

• Supervise and direct a team of six, allocating daily tasks and setting priorities

• Operate lifting equipment

• Picking, packing and dispatching orders

• Unpacking palletised containers on a forklift

• Checking and labelling stock

• Loading and unloading of trucks

• Co-ordinate dispatch transport, traffic flow, and complete dispatch documentation

• Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless operational efficiency

• Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the warehousing and distribution process

• Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policies and Procedures

Experience & Skills

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience

• High Risk Forklift (LF) Licence

• Demonstrated high reach forklift experience

• Proven ability to lead a team and hold others accountable

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A collaborative work style

• An understanding of supply chain, linehaul & distribution

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Desirable:

• Reach stacker ticket

• Biosecurity experience, or experience working under a DAFF Approved Arrangement

• Dangerous goods handling and storage knowledge
