Our client is a large, highly sought-after NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Payroll Officer to join their team in Goulburn.

You will be required to do a detail orientated Payroll Officer to join our friendly and supportive team. The role will be mainly responsible for maintaining payroll operations and to ensure the timely payment of wages, superannuation and compensation is processed each month with an external payroll provider.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Manage superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax calculations, terminations & payments.
   
2. Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payment of wages, salaries, and invoices.
   
3. Assist the team in ensuring HR & Payroll systems are aligned and working as excepted.
   
4. Plan and implement all payroll changes in relation to new and amended industrial instruments.
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Experience with payroll.
   
2. A high level of attention to detail and comfortable working in fast paced, autonomous and process driven environment.
   
3. Proven experience in prioritising workloads and strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.
   
4. Generate and distribute Payroll/EOM/EOY payroll reports.
