Contract Payroll Officer

• Location: Leederville
• Hours: 38 per week
• Start: ASAP
• $55-$58.99 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a high performing and friendly payroll team. You will deliver a proactive, customer focused, integrated payroll service. The ideal person is highly organised, able to multi task, process driven, and brings the maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information with care. Reporting to the Payroll Services Lead, this role is based in Leederville.


What you will do:
• Process payroll and HR records accurately including base pay and deductions
• Manage superannuation, tax, new hires, terminations and movements
• Maintain personnel files in line with regulatory requirements
• Act as first point of contact for HR and payroll reporting
• Advise employees and managers on employment conditions
• Resolve complex entitlement and payment queries
• Coach staff on HR Self Service
• Drive proactive communication with customers and HR consultants

What you bring:
• Experience interpreting conditions of employment and relevant awards
• ERP experience, SAP and SuccessFactors highly desirable
• Intermediate Excel and Outlook skills
• Strong interpersonal and client service focus
• Proven ability to prioritise in a dynamic corporate environment
• Ability to collaborate and support Administration Assistants
• Payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
