Merchandiser – Perth Northern Suburbs (Clarkson Area)

Liaise Marketing is a National Grocery Broker servicing a number of well known brands in the Supermarket sector. We are currently seeking a Merchandiser working a base of 18 hours per week to assist in merchandising and Layouts in Coles, Woolworths, Big W, IGA, and Chemist Warehouse stores. As a Liaise Marketing merchandiser you will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed according to company standards, maintaining aisle organization, and supporting store merchandising efforts. The role involves working independently, primarily between Monday and Friday from 8am to 5pm, Days and time can be flexible within this window. Additional hours will be available on a regular basis as well.

Key responsibilities

• Merchandise our client’s product range within your assigned territory.

• Check stock levels and liaise with store personnel.

• Report accurate data through an electronic device (iPad)

• Fill stock to shelves and displays (bending and lifting required).

• Negotiate off location opportunities, build and maintain displays.

• Complete layouts/planograms when allocated within your territory.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with store personnel.

• Compliance with internal store policies and company policies, including OH&S requirements.

• Meet deadlines as set by Head Office/State Manager.

• Identifying new sales opportunities.

• Tracking competitor activity.

Skills & experience

• Grocery merchandising or FMCG merchandising experience necessary (minimum 6-12 months experience required).

• Experience completing planograms/relays is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills (written and verbal)

• Effective negotiation and conflict management skills

• Eye for detail

• Self-motivated with great time management skills

• Computer literate

• Proven sales & customer service skills
