About the Role

Welcome Ready is looking for a reliable, hands-on Property Presentation Team Leader to join our growing short-term rental team across the Sunshine Coast.

This is a hands-on role with approximately 80% of your time focused on property presentation, cleaning and quality control, and 20% focused on team coordination and operational support.

You will play an important role in ensuring our short-term rental properties are consistently clean, well-presented and guest-ready, while also supporting the housekeeping team and helping coordinate weekend operations.

You'll work closely with our Housekeeping and Operations Managers to maintain high standards across the portfolio and ensure a smooth handover between weekend and weekday operations.

This position is ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and enjoys being hands-on while also taking responsibility for supporting a team.

Hours will vary depending on business requirements, generally ranging from 15–24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Property Presentation & Cleaning – Approximately 80%

• Complete high-quality departure cleans across our short-term rental properties.
• Complete mid-stay cleans and property-specific cleaning tasks as required.
• Ensure properties are presented to a consistently high standard before guest arrival.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections of completed work.
• Identify and rectify cleaning, presentation or maintenance issues where possible.
• Ensure all property presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Provide hands-on support to the housekeeping team when required.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure cleaning and presentation issues are communicated promptly to the office team.
• Assist with key collection and drop-off when required.

Team & Operations Support – Approximately 20%

• Coordinate weekend housekeeping requirements in line with team capacity and business needs.
• Act as a key point of contact for the housekeeping team during your rostered days.
• Respond to team queries and assist with resolving issues as they arise.
• Use company platforms to maintain clear and timely communication.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping and Operations Managers to ensure operational continuity.
• Proactively identify and escalate property or operational issues.
• Assist with warehouse and linen requirements when needed.
• Monitor linen and housekeeping stock levels and communicate shortages.
• Assist with linen ordering and weekend warehouse requirements.
• Complete a clear Monday handover covering any housekeeping, property or operational issues that occurred over the weekend.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, organised and takes pride in delivering excellent property presentation.

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is highly regarded, however, we are also open to someone with the right attitude, strong initiative and willingness to learn.

You will ideally have:

Essential Requirements

• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel between properties across the Sunshine Coast
• Availability to work a Friday to Tuesday roster
