We are excited to announce a new opportunity for the role of Community Hubs and SETS Support Coordinator – Townsville Level 4.1 (3 year Max-Term Contract).
The Community Hubs Support Coordinator is a part-time position which manages the quality framework and supports the Community Hub teams in Townsville. This role fosters connections to local services; across local teams and with the national team to support a holistic and locally tailored programs for families.
The role is also combined with part-time work under the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support(SETS) program that provides support to humanitarian entrants and some eligible migrants with their settlement needs in Townsville. This role will be supported through SETS Team Leader in Toowoomba, and if ever required, additional options for remote support of SETS team in SE Queensland to ensure capacity is well managed for part-time position.
Provide a coordination, liaison and support function for the three Hubs in Townsville
Provide appropriate training guidance and mentorship to Hub Leaders
Work with Hub Leaders and Principles to identify service gaps
Schedule and facilitate meeting with Hub Leaders in Townsville and Regional Queensland
Schedule and facilitate review and planning meeting with school principles
Review and submit data collected by the Hubs
Build connections and relationships with local service and community stakeholders that can support
the work under SETS and the clients and communities settling in Townsville
Relevant tertiary qualifications in community development, social work, education, or a related field, equivalent professional experience
Valid Queensland Driver’s Licence and willingness to use own car for work. Mileage will be paid for all work related travel
Possession of, or willingness and eligibility to obtain a Blue Card Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Regulation 2020
