About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team located in our Head Office in Salisbury.

We require the right person to fit into and adapt to a changing workload quickly, effectively and efficiently. The position requires someone who has excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with customers both face-to-face, verbally and electronically. You will be a key contact for our customers and responsible for the timely supply of spare parts, interpreting of parts, invoicing and providing a great customer experience.

The successful candidate will

• Receive, action and follow up customer telephone calls, enquiries and requests
• Process orders, invoices and stock returns quickly and efficiently
• Assist Purchasing Team in determining Stock Level and raise Purchase orders for Indent items from Suppliers
• Provide up to date information on the status and supply of spare parts
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and on time in relation to orders and deliveries
• Prospecting, cultivating and managing leads to develop the Spare Parts department

The successful candidate will have

• Ability to interpret spare parts manuals and transpose information to orders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
• A can do, customer focused attitude and passion for continuous improvement
• Enjoy talking to people and customer focused
• Attention to detail, multi-tasker and able to work to deadlines
• Professional presentation
• Strong customer service skills
• Microsoft package experience including Outlook
• Flexible, friendly, helpful and willing to take on any task

Remuneration based on experience, with the addition of commission on sales being available in the future.

Pay: $34.00 – $38.00 per hour
