The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused CCTV Compliance Coordinator to join G8 Education.

This role is responsible for coordinating the retrieval, secure handling, processing and release of CCTV footage and related digital records, ensuring sensitive information is managed accurately, confidentially and in accordance with legal, regulatory and organisational requirements.

You will act as a key point of contact for authorised internal stakeholders and external agencies, managing evidence requests from receipt through to release while maintaining accurate records and supporting appropriate chain-of-custody processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate authorised CCTV and digital record requests from retrieval through to secure release, ensuring appropriate approvals and timeframes are met.
• Maintain accurate records of requests, approvals, retrievals, transfers, releases and retention requirements.
• Apply chain-of-custody and secure handling processes to protect the integrity and confidentiality of CCTV footage and digital records.
• Act as a key point of contact for authorised external agencies and internal stakeholders, providing clear guidance and timely updates.
• Ensure CCTV and digital records are managed in accordance with privacy, surveillance, child safety, employment and recordkeeping requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready registers and documentation and support internal and external audit activities as required.
• Prepare routine reporting on request volumes, processing timeframes, outstanding actions and trends.
• Identify process improvements and escalate privacy, security, recordkeeping or compliance risks as appropriate.

About You

You will be a highly organised and trustworthy professional who is comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information in an environment where accuracy, process and discretion are essential.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in coordination, compliance, governance, records management, investigations, legal administration or a related field. Experience within the education or early childhood sector will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Experience managing sensitive or confidential information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities within required timeframes.
• Confidence working with systems, databases, registers and digital records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• An understanding of privacy, information handling, records management or evidence-handling principles.
• Sound judgement and the ability to recognise when matters require clarification, approval or escalation.
• A commitment to confidentiality, integrity and ethical conduct.
• Experience working with CCTV systems, digital evidence, chain-of-custody processes, privacy or surveillance requirements will be highly regarded.
• Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
