Head Barista

Full-Time Experienced Barista

Our Cafe is looking for an experienced and reliable Full-Time Barista to join our team at our busy café in Melbourne.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about coffee, provides excellent customer service and can work confidently in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:

• Full-time position – approximately 38 hours per week

• Monday to Friday – no weekends

• Immediate start available

• Salary of $70,000 + superannuation

• Busy hospital café environment

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality coffees and other beverages

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service

• Handling a high volume of coffee orders during busy periods

• Maintaining a clean and organised coffee station

• Following food safety and hygiene standards

• Working effectively with the rest of the café team

• Assisting with general café duties when required

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant barista/café experience

• Strong coffee-making skills and knowledge

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Available Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons

• Fluent English and strong communication skills

• Punctual, reliable, positive and friendly

• Excellent work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

• Australian working rights required
