The Position…
The Customer Service Representative will have a strong focus on customer relationships and monitor service delivery to ensure customer’s needs are met. You will focus on the customer, ensuring to build and maintain positive and profitable relationships specific to individual needs. In addition, you will keep abreast of internal and external factors which may affect customer needs whilst being up-to-date with new initiatives and best practices. You will be someone that is results driven and accepts challenging performance targets. Being well organised and having a planned approach to tackle initiatives will also be required. Finally, you will be required to provide support to the Sales Team’s Business Development Managers and proactively work with the Team to achieve sales targets. 

The Ideal Candidate… 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience within the reinforcing steel / concrete industry (desirable)
  
• Estimating and scheduling of reinforcing steel (desirable but not essential)
  
• Applicable years of retail store experience
  
• Proven successful experience in store sales
  
• Proven ability to provide detailed quotations and post-quote follow-up
  
• People and customer engagement skills 
  
• Strong organisational skills
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work in a team
  
• Ability to propose innovative ideas to increase market share
