Administration Officer – Orange

We are currently seeking an amazing Administration Officer to join the team at our award-winning Early Childhood service in Orange, NSW!

About the Role:

As our Administration Officer, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative and financial support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. This includes assisting team members with general administration tasks, performing reception, telephone and customer service duties, and managing accounts functions such as lodging invoices.

You’ll also play a key role in enrolment processes, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and appropriately allocated, while working alongside the Centre Manager on occupancy projections and re-enrolment procedures. Additionally, you’ll act as a key point of contact for families regarding fee-related enquiries and information.

• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
• Working knowledge of Child Care Subsidy (CCS), Kidsoft, and Childcare CRM software, as well as Early Childhood regulations is advantageous
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood and/or Administration related qualifications are desirable
• Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for ‘Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk’ is desirable, with evidence to be provided
• Current Food Handler Basics training is desirable, with a certificate to be provided
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications are encouraged (at own cost).

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (or a willingness to obtain)*
• Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities (or a willingness to develop this knowledge)
• Clear, confident communicator with solid stakeholder management and customer service skills
• Able to manage multiple responsibilities at once, prioritise effectively and complete tasks within required time frames
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Considerable proven experience in a fast-paced, front-of-house, administrative role at an Early Childhood service, or in a corporate setting
• Available for full-time work across service operational days and hours (Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm), with flexibility as required. May be willing to explore a 4 day per week arrangement for the right candidate also.
