Dental Receptionist — Boutique Cosmetic Clinic | West Pennant Hills

Taylor Street Dental is a boutique aesthetic dental clinic in West Pennant Hills, Sydney, specialising in Invisalign, cosmetic bonding, and complex restorative dentistry. We're a small, close-knit team that values quality over volume, and we take pride in doing things properly.

The Role

We're looking for a Dental Receptionist to support our front-desk operations and work closely with our clinical team. This is a reception-primary role, but we cross-train all team members in basic dental assisting — not to make you a full-time DA, but so you genuinely understand what we do and can support the team effectively. This is how we build our team, and it's a requirement, not an option.

What you'll do:

• Greet and welcome patients — you're the first impression
• Answer phones, manage bookings and appointment scheduling
• Process payments, HICAPS and insurance claims
• Discuss treatment plans and quotes with patients
• Follow up with patients on recalls and post-treatment welfare
• Support the clinical team with room turnover and sterilisation when needed

What we're looking for:

• Someone with initiative who sees what needs doing and does it — not someone who waits to be told
• Strong English communication skills (90%+ of our patients are English-speaking)
• Warm, professional, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
• Prior reception, front-desk or customer service experience (dental or healthcare preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable talking about money — treatment plans, quotes, payment conversations
• Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly — especially when things don't go to plan
• Willing to be cross-trained in basic dental assisting
• Must have Australian work rights (citizen, PR, or valid visa with no work restrictions)
• Mandarin/Cantonese bilingual is a bonus but not required
