Our client is a Sydney roofing services business working across residential and commercial properties. Repairs, restoration, full replacement, installation, roof painting, gutters, skylights and inspections.

This is a business that has done the hard work on the front end. They market heavily, they have built a strong online brand and reputation, and they are proven in this space. Their lead generation system is second to none and they are using AI to sharpen it further. Your diary gets filled with real enquiries from homeowners who have already put their hand up.

They back their work with a long warranty and guaranteed quality, so you are walking in with a brand people already trust rather than competing on price alone.

The Role

This role is primarily dealing with homeowners.

You are visiting homeowners who have already enquired and been qualified by the head office team. You inspect the roof, diagnose the problem and explain the options. Head office turns your quote around in about ten minutes, so you present it while you are still at the property and ask for the business there and then. Where the decision is not made on the day, you follow up by phone until it is finalised. Field-based across Sydney Metro with head office support behind every appointment.

Package

- $80,000 to $90,000 base + super

- $15,000 car allowance, inclusive of fuel and tolls

- Uncapped commission on top of the retainer

- Qualified leads provided by the business, no cold prospecting

- A proven lead generation system with AI behind it, so your appointments are already booked

- Induction, sales training and ongoing coaching in the sales process

Who We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a few different backgrounds:

- A qualified roofer, roof tiler, roof plumber or restoration tradesperson ready to move off the tools into a client facing role

- Sales experience in roofing, restoration, gutters, solar or home improvement, selling in the home to homeowners

- Sales experience in another in-home residential trade or product where you have quoted and closed at the kitchen table

A current Australian driver licence is essential. The key is understanding roofs and being able to explain a problem to a homeowner in language they trust. Whether you have sold it or built it.
