Early Childhood Educators – Permanent Part-Time & Casual

About the role

Country Kids Noosa is looking for educators to join our team. We have opportunities for both permanent part-time educators with consistent contracted hours, and casual educators to support the service when permanent team members are away. You'll work collaboratively with our educators and leadership team to create meaningful, play-based learning experiences for children.

🌱 The Permanent Part-Time Opportunity

We’re looking for an educator who would love to become part of our regular Noosa team.

You'll have consistent contracted hours, while working collaboratively with our educators and leadership team to create meaningful, play-based learning experiences for children.

Your exact classification and rate of pay will depend on your qualification, experience and applicable Award classification.

🌻 Our Casual Team

We’re also building a small team of reliable casual educators who can support the service with planned leave, training and occasional sick leave. We’re particularly looking for educators with flexibility across our opening hours of 7:00am–5:30pm, who are happy to work across different rooms and age groups.

Rather than having a huge casual list, we want educators who can become familiar faces – people who know our children, understand our routines and feel comfortable walking into the service when we need an extra pair of hands.

You might be studying, returning to Early Childhood, working around family commitments or simply looking for some additional flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Create meaningful, play-based learning experiences for children

• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership team

• Actively supervise children and understand that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility

• Communicate openly and professionally with children, families and colleagues

• Work across different rooms and age groups

About you

• Hold a current Working with Children Blue Card

• Are available to work across our opening hours of 7:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work varying shifts across these hours

• Hold or are working towards an Early Childhood qualification, or are interested in beginning your Early Childhood career

• Warm, reliable and genuinely enjoy being with children

• Value teamwork and positive relationships

• Willing to work across different rooms and age groups

• Understand that safeguarding and active supervision are everyone's responsibility

• Can communicate openly and professionally with children, families and colleagues
