Inbound Trade Sales Representative - Building Material Supplies

THE COMPANY

Future Fence is a disruptive building materials supplier that is a current candidate for the Australian Financial Review's 2026 list of fastest growing companies under 5 years old. We design and supply modular aluminium fencing and gate solutions that service both the trade and DIY markets.

THE POSITION

As our Inbound Trade Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Estimating materials and issuing supply-only quotations to our trade customers
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with trade customers and installers
• Building our installer network across Australia
• Providing technical product support to retail and trade customers

This is an opportunity to establish yourself as the pillar of our B2B sales department. The successful candidate will launch straight into a high level position with large incentive upside in a validated and fast growing business.

REMUNERATION

Because Future Fence is a rapidly growing company, we provide a unique opportunity for employees to earn substantial bonus payments every quarter. Your remuneration will comprise of a base salary, plus a quarterly bonus linked to your own Key Performance Indicators.

OTE: $125,000 + Superannuation ($100,000 base + $25,000 in KPI dependent bonuses paid quarterly).

THE APPLICANT:

• Essential: Experience in building material sales OR general construction experience (fencing, carpentry, fabrication/metal work, landscaping, building design, engineering or architecture)
• Essential: Ability to read building plans and perform material takeoffs
• Essential: Ability to lead a conversation and forge relationships with trades, designers and builders/developers
• Essential: Comfortable with eCommerce, WMS and CRM technology/software
• Essential: Ability to work in our Geebung showroom, Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Favourable: Management/Supervisor experience and a growth mindset

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
