Accommodation Receptionist & Reservations Officer

This is an accommodation-based position, not a food and beverage position.

We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Receptionist & Reservations Officer to join our small team for 2 days per week (day shifts).

Your responsibilities will include managing guest reservations and enquiries, providing exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out, coordinating the housekeeping team, and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation of the property to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest reservations, enquiries, room allocations and guest accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Respond to telephone, email and online enquiries promptly and professionally.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and resolving issues efficiently.

• Process guest payments and maintain accurate reservation and guest records.

• Use hotel property management systems (PMS), channel managers and online travel agency (OTA) platforms to manage bookings and maximise occupancy.

• Manage the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standard for arriving guests.

• Maintain the property to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

• Perform general reception and administrative duties.

 Key Requirements & Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel reception and reservations.

• Experience using hotel property management systems (PMS), channel managers and OTA platforms.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

• Professional presentation with a positive, proactive attitude.

• Availability to work 2 days per week (day shifts).
