Salary: $71,500 plus 12% super
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time position, 38 work hours per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Café Attendant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Your Duties and Responsibilities:

· Taking customer orders and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, iced drinks, milkshakes and other café beverages.

· Serving food and beverages to customers accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service.

· Preparing and serving simple café food items, such as sandwiches, toasties and salads, in accordance with established procedures.

· Processing cash and electronic payments; operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.

· Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables and maintaining dining areas, service counters and other customer service areas in a clean and tidy condition.

· Washing dishes, glassware, cutlery, utensils and café equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of food and beverage service areas.

· Replenishing food display, beverages, packaging, condiments and other café supplies throughout the day.

· Assisting with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and packing down customer service and café areas.

· Maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

· An AQF Certificate III in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Services, or a related field is preferred.

· At least one year of full-time relevant work experience in a café, restaurant, or other fast-paced hospitality environment is required.

· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

· Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure and remain organised in a busy hospitality environment.

· A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to assist across all areas of the business.
