About Us

Able Path is a dedicated NDIS registered provider supporting individuals with complex medical and disability needs. We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Casual Registered Nurses (RNs) and Complex Care Support Worker (FEMALE ONLY — client request) to join our growing team in Westminster, WA.

This role involves providing high-quality clinical and personal care to a 5-year-old girl with complex medical needs, including respiratory management, PEG/PEJ feeding, and daily living support within her home and community environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support, including oxygen saturation monitoring, oxygen administration, PEJ feeding, and emergency management etc.

• Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, feeding, and personal care.

• Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and well-being.

• Follow and implement the client’s care plan with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Restock medical supplies and perform light household tasks ( For Complex Care Support Worker)

• Respect and support the client’s religious and cultural preferences.

• Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse, family members, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 6months of experience as a Registered Nurse and 1 year as Complex Care Support Worker in acute care settings or/and home care settings.

• AHPRA registration (unrestricted).

• Current First Aid and CPR certification, Manual Handling, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check, two references etc.

• Flexibility to work morning, evening, active night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and crisis management abilities.

• Passion for working with children with physical and complex disabilities.

Shift availability

Registered Nurses: 2pm to 10pm Thursday and Friday

Complex Care Support Workers: AM, PM and Active over night shift ( 7.5 to 8.5 hours shift) Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex needs such as brain injury or tracheostomy.

• Emergency or ICU experience highly regarded ( For Registered Nurse)
