Experienced Florist / Retail Assistant (Casual – 4 Days per Week)

As part of our small, close-knit team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop, including:

Responsibilities

• Designing and creating fresh floral arrangements and bouquets

• Preparing flowers for display and sale

• Assisting customers with floral selections and gift purchases

• Providing outstanding customer service both in-store and over the phone

• Processing orders and operating the POS system

• Maintaining shop presentation and merchandising displays

• Caring for fresh flowers and plants

• General cleaning and daily store duties

• Assisting with wedding, funeral and event floristry when required

• Local deliveries on occasion

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience working as a florist (essential)

• Retail or customer service experience

• Confidence creating hand-tied bouquets and floral arrangements independently

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good attention to detail and pride in your work

• Availability to work approximately four days per week. (Tuesday-Friday)
