Colour Mixer Machine Operator (Day Shift) – Darra QLD

  About the role

The Colour Mixer Machine Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Darra, QLD. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be operating the machines in the factory that produces Rooftiles.

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past
• Operating multiple machines, fault finding and performing quality control checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S Standards in the work area
• Set up and filling of applicator.
• Quality control checks
• Reset tile machines and start.
• Understand production plan and ensure correct colour and profile being produced.
• Upholding high standards of housekeeping

You will be working day shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required and will be paid as overtime.

What you bring to the role

• Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry (warehousing or large manufacturing environment)
• A strong commitment to safety awareness
• Willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
