Asbestos Supervisor

AKT Asbestos & Demolition is seeking an experienced and motivated A Class Asbestos Supervisor to join our growing team. The Role

As an A Class Asbestos Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising asbestos removal projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and participate in A Class and/or B Class asbestos removal works

· Manage asbestos removal projects in compliance with all relevant legislation and safety requirements

· Oversee and assist with demolition works

· Maintain a safe, organised, and tidy worksite

· Use hand tools to strip out walls, ceilings, flooring, and other fittings

· Ensure equipment is operated safely and in accordance with company procedures

· Coordinate the removal, loading, and disposal of waste materials into trucks and bins

· Lead, mentor, and support site crews while maintaining a strong safety culture

· Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional regional/out-of-town projects

Essential Requirements

Applicants Must Have:

· CPCCDE4008 – Supervise Asbestos Removal

· CPCCDE3015 – Remove Friable Asbestos

· Proven experience supervising A Class asbestos removal projects

· Experience in Class A and Class B asbestos removal

· Demolition industry experience – Advantageous

· Strong knowledge of asbestos removal regulations, procedures, and workplace safety requirements

· Current and valid driver’s licence

· Valid Australian Work Rights

· Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

· A professional attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work
