Senior Corporate Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation and audit, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a complex business environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance obligations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, you will support the delivery of accurate financial information and help maintain a strong control environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate external audit activities and liaise with auditors and professional advisors.

• Prepare statutory financial statements and other compliance reporting.

• Manage taxation compliance requirements.

• Prepare and review financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of financial controls and governance processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies.

About You

You will be a motivated finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You'll also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.

• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, including IFRS.

• Experience in statutory reporting, taxation and external audit coordination.

• Experience working in a medium to large organisation.

• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
