About the role
As part of the team, you’ll help people navigate the challenging conflicts that follow separation.
You will deliver a range of high-quality, child-focused interventions to support families navigating the challenges of post-separation conflict. Working within the framework of the Family Law Act, you will guide families through complex issues relating to parenting arrangements, finances and property settlement, helping them reach agreements.
Your responsibilities will include intake, risk assessment, case management, and the delivery of tailored interventions such as mediation and child-inclusive practices.
Beyond family law matters, you will also provide general mediation services to Interrelate clients across a variety of contexts. These may include workplace disputes, elder mediation, property mediation, school-based conflicts, and parent-child relationship challenges. Your role will be to facilitate constructive dialogue, support clients in identifying key issues, explore options, and empower them to make informed, mutually beneficial decisions. The role will also deliver relationship and parenting courses.
This is a unique opportunity to use your skills to foster understanding, reduce conflict, and create positive outcomes for individuals and families across diverse situations.
The successful applicant must hold a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution, and current accreditation with the Attorney-General's Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

You will work 30 hours per week with days of work being negotiable.
The position will be based out of Singleton & our Muswellbrook office.
This is a Fixed-term contract position until 30 June 2028.
Hourly rate is in line with a SCHADS Award level 5, $57.72 per hour, plus 12% superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.
