As a Xero Platinum Partner, we combine deep technical expertise with modern systems and processes — and we're looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting to your Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients — managing, developing and administering their affairs to a consistently high standard. You'll be trusted to run your own workflow from start to finish: planning the work, delegating where appropriate, reviewing output, and handing a completed, review-ready assignment back to your Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing and developing a portfolio of clients under the direction of your Manager

- Maintaining strong client service standards and producing high-quality technical work

- Staying current with developments in taxation law, accounting standards, systems and processes

- Sharing technical expertise

- Meeting productivity targets and client budgets

- Identifying and delivering value-added services to clients

- Taking full ownership of allocated jobs from planning through to completion, ready for Manager review

What We're Looking For

- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge, kept current with legislative and industry change

- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio with minimal oversight

- A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor and share knowledge

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines and budgets

- A genuine interest in adding value for clients, beyond compliance delivery
