Maintenance Officer -Stanthorpe QLD

Permanent Part Time- 49 hours per fortnight

About The Role

As a Maintenance Officer, you will carry out day-to-day maintenance and grounds tasks across the site under limited supervision. You'll support the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Every day will bring something different, from shaping hedges to minor repairs, using your practical know‑how to ensure our sites run smoothly and look their best. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

In This Role, You Will

Complete general maintenance tasks including repairs, basic installations, and cleaningMaintain outdoor areas including mowing, pruning, and garden upkeepFollow preventative maintenance schedules to support site upkeepAssist contractors and support on-site works as requiredComplete basic record keeping using maintenance systemsFollow safety procedures and use PPE appropriately

Our Ideal Candidate Has

Experience in a maintenance or handyman or similar hands-on role (desirable)Ability to prioritise tasks and work with limited supervisionKnowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements (or willingness to learn)Current driver's licenceBasic computer skillsExperience using maintenance systems (desirable)Experience in aged care or community services (desirable)Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not offering sponsorship for this role.

Flexible work days within Mon-Fri. Industry experience preferred, qualified trade certificate preferred.
