About the role
The Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit (EPRU) is responsible for whole-of-Agency emergency management for the Department of Health.
The RoleThe Senior Planner works as part of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit (EPRU) statewide team to plan and coordinate emergency management systems and processes within an emergency risk management framework, consistent with legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as Departmental, local, regional, and state emergency management strategic policies and plans.

Why TasmaniaThe Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Details of appointmentPermanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$111,754 to $126,579 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
