About the role

This dynamic role involves supporting team efforts in creating and optimising digital marketing strategies, performing competitor research, and presenting key insights. You'll delve into various tasks across the SEO team, from keyword research, meta data recommendations to basic copywriting and sub editing. 

You will be nurtured by the wider team, but will work closely with the team leads to develop your skills and understanding of all things SEO. 

Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, coupled with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, are crucial. Beyond technical abilities, you’ll need to possess a proactive attitude, storytelling prowess, and a thirst for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in creating and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns based on best practise & client data.
• Assist in driving organic traffic and enhancing the online visibility of our clients. 
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and internal linking structures for improved search engine visibility
• Implement technical SEO best practices to enhance website performance and user experience.
• Assist with link building & creation of media lists
• Analyse keyword trends and search volumes to inform content strategy and website optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute SEO strategies that align with client objectives and industry best practices. 
• Support with the on-going management of accounts/campaigns
• Adhoc support to the senior team members

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor degree in marketing or similar (completed or underway)
• Experience in Excel, Google Sheets and a high level of computer literacy
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics
• Great with numbers, calculations and using data 
• Strong critical thinking skills to question and challenge the norm
• Ability to story tell and articulate your thoughts and findings in a compelling way
