Appian Architect

Conexxia is a leading Australian IT Consulting Company specializing in agile development, continuous delivery and DevOps. We are passionate about strategic automation and Digital Transformation and currently service prominent customers across Australia and Europe.To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for Appian Architect to join our team in Sydney.
As part of the Appian engineering team, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver exciting new features and functionality in the BPM space.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with architects to promote consistency of the platform, inspire design discipline, and continuously advance the state of Appian’s technology.Be an expert at architecting and building complex multi-tiered applications.Create or help create technical roadmaps that align with the product roadmaps.Spike robust solutions to clear architectural runway ahead of feature development.Perform code reviews which provide feedback not only on code quality, but on design and implementation.Seek to identify opportunities for code refactoring and performance optimizations on a regular basis and champion these efforts within the team.Identify technical constraints, dependencies, and misalignment to engineering effectiveness and lead initiatives to address them.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
12 + years of experience in architecting, designing, building, and delivering software applications at an enterprise level with Appian.A degree in Computer Science (BE/B.Tech) or an equivalent level of experience.Familiarity with orchestration and automation technologies, and operational processes.Understanding of business process modelling and reengineering concepts.The ability to establish robust relationships with peers, business counterparts, and other key stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels and win the trust of key stakeholders.Prior experience in Agile projects and processes
