• Salary: From $40.82 to $43.67 per hour plus casual loading

About the Position

We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join the team at Kingsway Indoor Stadium — a vibrant hub for sport, recreation and community activity.

This is more than just a job in facility management. You’ll be at the heart of the action, helping bring competitions, events, programs and fitness activities to life while creating great experiences for everyone who walks through our doors.

• Take the lead on Kingsway Indoor Stadium operations in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Work with sporting clubs, user groups and the community, helping coordinate bookings, events and enquiries.
• Bring sport and recreation to life by supporting the delivery of sporting competitions, leisure programs and group fitness classes.
• Create great customer experiences, making sure everyone feels welcome and supported.
• Keep things safe and running smoothly, taking responsibility for duty of care and following the City’s occupational safety and health requirements.
• Think on your feet, solve problems and handle the unexpected in a busy, dynamic stadium environment.

About You    
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine passion for sport and recreation.
You will be a collaborative team player who enjoys being around people, can confidently take charge when needed and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
You will also thrive in a busy, constantly changing environment where there’s always something happening; from sporting competitions and events to customer enquiries and unexpected challenges.

1. Experience in leisure facility management or a similar sport and recreation environment.
2. Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
3. Great problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the confidence to handle challenging situations professionally.
4. A current First Aid Certificate.
5. A valid Working with Children Check.

Applicants will be required to work outside of normal business hours. Shifts will be allocated generally in the below timeframes.
• Monday – Friday: 4pm-10pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7am – 7pm (pending bookings & events)
