Warehouse Supervisor (Hands-On) - Largs Bay

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Supervisor (Hands-On) with solid experience in the transport industry to join our team at our Largs Bay depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse and yard operation.

• Perform loading, unloading, receipting, and dispatch activities.

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Manage inventory, stock control, and warehouse housekeeping.

• Coordinate with yard hands, customers, and operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.

• Act as the primary contact for warehouse customers.

• Manage customer enquiries and service requirements.

• Carry a company-issued mobile phone and be available to support customers and staff when required.

• Support and oversee yard personnel working within the operation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience managing a warehouse or yard operation.

• Strong hands-on warehouse and forklift experience.

• A current forklift licence.

• Experience managing inventory and stock control.

• Experience dealing directly with customers.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• A proactive, safety-focused approach.

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of the operation.

• The ability to coordinate and direct yard personnel.

• A willingness to be available via a company-issued mobile phone when required.

• A strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
