Events Coordinator

• Location: Footscray Hospital
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
• Salary: Admin Grade 5 (commensurate w/ experience) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging 

About the role:

As Events Coordinator, you will plan, deliver and promote high‑quality events and productions that bring Western Health’s people and community together.

You’ll create meaningful experiences for staff, executives, board members and partners, helping strengthen Western Health’s reputation and support key organisational priorities.

This role offers the chance to shape major events, build strong relationships and contribute to impactful engagement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities: 

• Coordinate planning, delivery and promotion of Western Health events and high‑end productions.
• Develop event plans, briefs, invitations and promotional materials.
• Build strong relationships with staff, leaders and external stakeholders to support event consistency and outcomes.
• Support logistics for Ministerial and VIP events.
• Provide event advice to colleagues and deliver internal content to promote events.

About you: 

• Tertiary qualification in event coordination or significant experience in major event environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating events and high‑end productions.
• Proven project planning and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
