 Shark Bay Salt Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd, owns and operates two salt fields in Western Australia – Onslow Salt and Shark Bay Resources. Onslow Salt, located on the pristine north-west coast of Western Australia, commenced operations in 2001 and today produces approximately 2.7 million tonnes of salt annually, with exports predominantly supplied to Asian markets.

This is a relocation position only

The Role:

• Perform trade work on plant, electrical, and air-conditioning systems to required standards and timeframes.

• Diagnose faults and deliver effective long-term repair solutions.

• Monitor electrical system health and support preventative maintenance.

• Provide technical support and accurate information to staff and operations.

• Maintain the site air-conditioning register and records.

• Operate OSPL test equipment correctly and safely.

• Conduct inspections, prepare job estimates, and ensure high housekeeping standards.

About you:

• Auto Electrician trade qualified with 3+ years post trade experience.

• Air-Conditioning Licence - Highly Desirable.

• Ability to work 8 days on, 6 days off 12 hour shifts.

• Western Australian Drivers Licence.

• Ability to obtain an Maritime Security Identification Card.

• Previous mine site experience remote locations - desirable.
