Customer Service Officer

About the role

Our Customer Service Officer is a role 100% driven by customer requirements. The position is responsible for many aspects of the Sales and Service function at State branch level. The branch office is the customer's first point of contact, and the role requires regular in-person attendance to receive walk-in customers, host showroom visits, and coordinate with delivery drivers attending the site.

Key responsibilities

• Efficient order entry, maintenance and progression of all orders as required

• Accurate provision of ETAs to customers

• Ensuring product and process knowledge is maintained at an acceptable Furnx standard

• Booking deliveries back into Options

• Data entry tasks as required

• Preparation and coordination of customer quotes as required

• Acting as the branch's first point of contact for customers, showroom visitors and delivery drivers attending the site in person

• Facilitating in-person customer order collection and hosting showroom visits at the branch
